Job DescriptionMultiple postdoctoral positions are available in the Lin lab in the Department of Systems Biology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Our laboratory focuses on utilizing systems approaches to identify novel therapeutic vulnerabilities associated with deficiencies in DNA damage response (McGrail, et al. Cancer Cell 2020; Sun, et al. Cancer Cell 2018; Peng, et al. Nat. Comm. 2014).
We are seeking highly motivated candidates with experience in cancer biology, cancer immunology, and/or bioinformatics to work on two recently funded R01 grants focused on leveraging DNA replication stress response to treat cancer and enhance tumor immunogenicity.
Successful experimentally focused postdocs will have experience with standard molecular biology techniques and in vivo mouse experiments. Successful computationally focused postdocs will be able to integrate diverse "-omics" datasets and patient clinical information, including experience with standard languages (e.g., Python, R).
