REMOTE IN FLORIDA

Position Highlights:

• The SBO (Secondary Business Office) Accounts Resolution Analyst is responsible for reconciling accounts between Moffitt's patient accounting system (Soarian) and the SBO vendor's reported balances. The position involves validating the vendor reconciliation processes, communicating and resolving changes/ updates, and adjusting balances as necessary. Some direct patient communication is involved.

 

The Ideal Candidate:

·       Will healthcare revenue experience in a hospital, healthcare provider setting; associated with radiation oncology, radiology, surgery, and/or laboratory office setting.

·        Must have Soarian experience and analytical/problem solving skills.

·        Working proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

 

Responsibilities:

·        Review and process Vendor Reconciliation reports in a timely manner. Evaluate Accounts for any balance discrepancy and note for resolution.

·        Problem solves accounts that have a guarantor discrepancy and communicate resolution with Vendor. Take appropriate steps to correct Moffitt Accounting system if necessary; Take appropriate steps to communicate to vendor necessary correction, if necessary.

·        Validate Vendor has taken appropriate action to correct discrepancy. Review process work-flow and offer education for process improvement.

·        Assist with A/R processes as necessary: Cash posting, Cashier, Inter-company payment processing; other A/R functions as assigned.

                          

Credentials and Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing, Finance, HIM / Coding, Healthcare or Business Administration.

• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in related healthcare revenue field, payer setting, self-pay collections and/or the cash posting area is required. *High school diploma and five (5) years of additional relevant professional healthcare revenue related experience for a total of ten (10) years of relevant professional experience will be considered "in lieu" of the Associate's degree.*

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a hospital, healthcare provider (physician's office) setting is required.
