Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs routine laboratory tasks, which includes the preparation of laboratory supplies and/or equipment.
- Maintains data banks and lab inventories, including documenting and distributing orders
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Work positively and enthusiastically as part of a team
- Be responsible, organized, motivated and a problem solver
- Strong attention to detail is a must
- Ability to learn new instrumentation and software is essential
Education and/or Experience:
Requires a high school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Prior laboratory experience of college level biochemistry or chemistry science courses are preferred.
The expected hiring range for this position is $16.30 - $26.45/hour, commensurate with experience.
