Job Description


Position Highlights:

  • The Research Coordinator I works with Dr. Erin Siegel and the research team working on the ColoCare protocol and other GI related projects.
  • Works independently under general supervision to coordinate the activities of assigned research protocols.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A professional, personable, organized individual with healthcare/medical knowledge, preferably in oncology.
  • The ability to multi-task well is highly desirable.
  • Ability to speak Spanish would be desirable, but not necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Review the informed consent form and follow-up procedures with participants.  
  • Administers measures and questionnaires either in person or virtually.
  • Job duties include proofing for data entry errors, preparing patient/participant documents for study visits, and assisting with the preparation and submission of documents to the IRB, granting agencies, and study sponsors.
  • Coordinates activities associated with research samples or other materials.

Credentials and Qualifications:

  • Associate degree required with 2 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required.
  • Must have good organization and communication skills.
  • Must work well under pressure of meeting mandatory deadlines.
