Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY

  • Provide operational, project management and communication support to Biopharma PX Lead to achieve China PX objectives, colleague engagement and organizational efficiency. The PX PM shows flexibility and strong project management skills to lead a variety of PX initiatives and projects  (65% of time)
  • (S)He will be the point of contact for HR Operation and work closely with GBS, for optimizing employee experience. (20% of the time)
  • Act as focal for compliance and employment law related work, ensure the HR policy and practice are updated accordingly. (15%)

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Primary liaison for key stakeholders, including PX COEs & CFs, GBS, GWS, finance, compliance and business lines.
  • Enhance the effectiveness of the Biopharma PX lead by proactively taking on work and adding value in ways such as preparation of presentations, briefing documents, responding to questions and requests, organizing and prioritizing materials for review, etc.
  • Acts as HR Operation focal point to liaise with global and regional GBS team and external HR vendors for the on boarding/off boarding/promotion/transfer etc employee life cycle support to create best employee experience
  • Monitors the external employment law changes and updates the company PX policy and practice accordingly. 
  • Monitors the COVID development, develops company policies and practice to support employee’s new way of working and well beings.
  • Acts as HR project manager for any ad-hoc projects such as new legal entity set up, employee manual update, PIPL law implementation, M&A integration, restructure etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required, master's degree is preferred
  • HRBP or HR consultant experience preferred
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills required
  • Strong interpersonal, written & oral English communication & presentation skill
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Solid knowledge on HR related laws
  • Ability to learn and understand the business and is motivated to continue learning
