Job Description

Summary

The Division of Developmental Pediatrics is seeking a highly motivated candidate to provide administrative support for the Division Heads and assigned leaders and faculty. This position will support the division by coordinating financial and business processes, this involves multitasking and strong communication skills. 
 

Job Duties

• Provides administrative support to Division Heads (Division/Clinical Chiefs, Baylor College of Medicine Administrator). 
• Assists with faculty recruitment, website updates, onboarding and related activities.
• Coordinates the organization, audio/visual needs, and catering for meetings, conferences, events, certificate luncheons, and graduation events.
• Initiates check requests, cash requests, purchase orders, and travel reimbursements related to program needs.
• Serves as primary administrative contact between the Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics and other institutions.
• Assists with data collection and management for annual reports, program and faculty supervision evaluation feedback.
• Manages appointments and renewals. 
• Coordinates department meetings, events, retreats, and other functions. 
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional technical training beyond high school preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
