Job Description

Summary

We are searching for a Lead, Clinical Research that can lead the development of ALS Clinical Trials at Baylor.   The job purpose will be to develop a database for ALS patients interested in clinical trials, recruit patients with ALS, and run ALS Clinical trials. The job will support daily operations for clinical trials. Recruits, screens, and enrolls study participants. Collects, enters, evaluates, and tracks research data. 

Job Duties

  • Builds and maintains a database of Baylor ALS patients interested in clinical trials
  • Recruits, screens and enrolls ALS patients for clinical trials
  • Supports daily operations for ALS clinical trials.
  • Oversees the timely execution of key deliverables and identifying critical risk areas for ALS patient studies.
  • Works on IRB protocols when needed
  • Recruits, screens, and enrolls study participants; ensures participant adherence to study protocol. Collects, evaluates, enters, and tracks data.
  • Submits data, study documents, and/or reports to regulatory agencies.
  • Assists with completion of protocol-specific documents.
  • Establishes study files and prepares and oversees study-related documentation.
  • May collect samples from participants.
  • Closes out study protocols and assists in end of study data analysis.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Six years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Ten plus years of clinical research experience.
