The Digital Quality (DQ) Solution Center, an integral function within DM, serves as a catalyst for transformation by delivering advanced solutions that revolutionize Quality Operations. The Sr Manager QA Engineering & Integration Lead will play a crucial role in our Digital Quality Solutions team, reporting directly to the Director, Digital Quality Integration & Solution Engineer you will lead technical colleagues focused on eQMS Veeva Vault and other Quality Assurance solutions. Your main responsibility will be to drive these teams towards a well-defined technical landscape that is efficient, cost effective and resilient. By integrating existing solutions and developing innovative ones, our aim is to enhance the digital user experience, boost efficiency, and minimize deviations.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions on the Veeva Vault eQMS platform.

  • Design and architect scalable and secure solutions that align with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) principles and best practices.

  • Lead the technical implementation and customization of the Veeva Vault eQMS platform, ensuring adherence to architectural guidelines and standards.

  • Provide guidance and support to development teams, helping them understand and implement architectural patterns and design principles.

  • Conduct system analysis, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to optimize the Veeva Vault eQMS platform's performance and reliability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and quality assurance professionals, to ensure successful delivery of projects and enhancements.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to eQMS platforms and SAFe methodology and recommend innovative approaches for continuous improvement.

  • Function as a subject matter expert, providing technical leadership and guidance to stakeholders, and participating in architectural reviews and governance activities.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

  • Relevant Experience: 7 years relevant experience with at least 3 years of experience in software architecture, with specific experience in implementing and customizing Veeva Vault eQMS platforms.

  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) principles, Veeva Vault eQMS platform, and relevant technologies such as Java, JavaScript, SQL, and web services.

Job-Related Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to design and architect scalable and secure solutions, conduct system analysis and performance tuning, and troubleshoot technical issues on the Veeva Vault eQMS platform .

  • People management experience have managed a team up to 12 individuals, including performance assessment reports, conflict resolution techniques and underperforming situations.  

  • Solid ability to manage vendor contracts including but not limited to statements of work, budget forecast and reporting and general contract management. 

  • Proven record producing financial reports and managing department budget allocation for both CapEx and Opex.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: Possession of any relevant certifications related to SAFe, Veeva Vault, or other relevant technologies.

  • Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $117,300.00 to $195,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
