Job Description

Position Highlights: 

  • The Senior Financial and Contract Administrator reports to the VP, Strategic Development & Partnership, and is
    responsible for the fiscal and contract management functions of the Partnership Team. Additionally, this role is
    responsible for regular monitoring and reporting of the fiscal health of the partnership strategy which includes: budget
    monitoring and reporting of variances, invoicing and collections, AR monitoring, development of annual operational
    budgets. Will also monitor and regularly report on Moffitt's compliance and performance regarding partnership
    agreements; that activities, goals and objectives are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, timeframes,
    budgets, and any other specifications.

Responsibilities: 

  • Business consulting services include financial modeling, proformas and analysis for new or expansion of existing
    partnerships. Develops and distributes monthly dashboards reporting partnership monthly and YTD financial results and
    operational KPIs. Providing background information for any variances. Assessing trends to determine short-term and long-term implication to financial results compared to forecast and Moffitt's partnership obligations. Presents insights to partnership leadership team and senior leadership team as needed.
  • Collaborates with MRI finance personnel on allocation of fees to MRI effort allocations and assist in review of funds allocated to MRI Research and appropriate MRI leadership.Provide billing and support documentation for Accounting. Provides oversight for fiscal management of the partnership activities to include budget development, budget monitoring, reporting of variances  revenue and expense), billing and accounts receivables, monitoring of effort allocation and funds flow. Provides direction and guidance to other departments regarding partnership fiscal matters.
  • Collaborates with MRI finance personnel on allocation of fees to MRI effort allocations and assist in review of funds allocated to MRI Research and appropriate MRI leadership.Provide oversight for contract management of the partnership activities to include: developing a reliable system to monitor and report contract obligations as noted in agreements, ensures each contract deliverable has an action plan, report gaps in the delivery of contractual obligations, manage and notify partnership team
    of key milestones in contracts (annual goals, performance e bonuses, contract expirations, etc.). Provides direction and guidance to other departments regarding partnership fiscal matters.
  • Develops marketing materials for potential partners and tenant, financial forecasting for component projects, and special studies and analyses for strategic projects and initiatives (i.e. Pasco campus) including potential industry alliances, joint or special ventures, and lease structures with 3rd parties. Organize and lead project management support for partnership projects.
  •  Champions best practices and assesses process improvement opportunities that drive improved documentation of processes, analytics, accountability, efficiency and productivity. Provides direct oversight and management of Project Coordinator, Strategic Alliances.

Credentials and Education: 

  • Bachelor's Degree - field of study - Business, Finance, Healthcare
    • Seven (7) years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, budget development and monitoring, and contracts management (combined education and experience 11 years).
      • If a Certified Public Accountant
        (CPA) certification has been achieved, only four (4) years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, budget development and monitoring, and contracts management is required.
    • (OR)
      Master’s Degree and five (5) years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, budget development and monitoring, and contracts management (combined education and experience 11 years).
      • If a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification has been achieved, only two (2) of experience in financial analysis, accounting, budget development and monitoring, and contracts management is required.
