Business Resource Advisor

The Business Resource Advisor serves as a critical business partner to executives, clinical and operational leaders to achieve site goals and objectives and system-wide initiatives.

  • This is a salaried position onsite at our hospital.

  • The Business Resource Advisor supports improving patient experience and outcomes along with enhancing overall performance within clinical areas of City of Hope Atlanta. This role is responsible for initiating and leading strategic projects that drive efficient, high-quality operations; turning analysis into action by serving as a key advisor to leadership to deliver results and supporting core financial processes.

  • Have the ability to motivate and influence cross-functional teams and work with stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization to effectively understand challenges, formulate creative options, and implement measurable solutions.

  • Collaborate with key leaders to develop innovative solutions, achieve goals, and ensure successful development of clinical programs.

  • Develops, implements, and supports service line growth by serving as a business resource charged in supporting an array of initiatives, in conjunction with Leadership and Clinical leaders.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and works alongside Operations leadership in providing recommendations to drive efficient, high quality of care to improve business results.

  • Supports Leadership in defining Clinical strategy and developing operational plans and analyses that help meet business objectives; ensures clear communication and alignment of the strategy with Growth, Physicians, Senior leaders, and Clinical leaders.

  • Support Operations with month-end reporting, variance analyses and other ad hoc analyses which include daily, weekly, and monthly review and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of healthcare finance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Education Requirements:

  • Minimum of a BS/BA in Business, Finance, Accounting, or another business-related field.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $36.71 - $60.46 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
