Responsible for input to the general ledger for Medical Center based corporations and for financial reports generated therefrom. Audits and reconciles interfaces from ancillary systems, intercompany accounts ledgers and selected balance sheet accounts.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Analyzes and reconciles General Ledger balance sheet and expense accounts in support of
  • internal/external audit functions.
  • Audits and reconciles intercompany accounts between the multiple corporate entities.
  • Reconciles assigned corporate bank accounts to the General Ledger. Creates necessary journal entry
  • adjustments.
  • Ensures proper reconciliation of interfaces from subsidiary systems, i.e., Patient Accounting,
  • Inventory, Accounts Payable and Payroll. Reconciles and reports labor distribution.
  • Prepares journal vouchers for input for assigned area of responsibility.
  • Prepares audit schedules and compiles other necessary data for independent auditors.

Your qualifications should include:

  • High School or equivalent
  • Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training
  • Minimum Experience: 2-5 years in General Ledger, financial statement preparation, auditing,computer accounting.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $28.63 - $44.38 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
