Student Services Program Coordinator II (CB70/61121831), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Band: 05. Salary range: $37,860.00 (minimum) - $53,957.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday, 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university. Must be willing to travel alone extensively and work flexible hours. Overnight and weekend travel and work are required.

Duties
Duties include, but are not limited to:

ORIENTATION PROGRAMMING & SCAFFOLDING: Directly responsible for the planning promotion, implementation and assessment of all orientation programs. This includes collaboration with campus partners, developing and managing logistical scaffolding that implements existing and emerging technologies into the program, and utilization and distribution of marketing related to orientation programming.

STUDENT LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, SUPERVISION & SCAFFOLDING: Works with the Director to oversee the development and management to support and supervise the department’s student staff leadership development program. Oversees the Coordinator in the hiring and management of student staff. Works with the department to distribute duties and responsibilities to the professional and student staff.

FAMILY PROGRAMMING: Assists and supports new student and family transition programming as requested. This includes but is not limited to Family Weekend and the CCU Family Council.

COMMUNICATION, COLLABORATION & CUSTOMER SERVICE: Maintains communication with campus partners in way relevant to the program and develop communication with off-campus collaborators to support and enhance the program. Utilizes and integrates methods of communication among the department, student workers, and extensions of the program. Provides exceptional customer service to all constituents.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree and experience in student services programs.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Higher/Adult Education, College Student Personnel, Student Development, Organizational/Educational Leadership or an equivalent degree program. Three (3) years of full-time professional experience working in higher education administrative work or related field. Experience supervising undergraduate/graduate students as well as an understanding of both their needs and their families.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills. Demonstrated commitment and successful experience working with people from diverse backgrounds. Proficiency in technology and programs including but not limited to Microsoft Office, social media platforms, websites, multi media technology. Ability to work independently, prioritize deadlines, maintain accuracy, and pay attention to detail. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends and holidays.
