The Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope is looking for a talented Postdoctoral Fellow under the direction of Dr. Ling Li.
Our dynamic department stands at the forefront of cutting-edge medical research. As a Postdoctoral Fellow, you will actively contribute to groundbreaking projects, employing high-throughput CRISPR genetic screening to unveil novel targets and utilizing single-cell technology for in-depth genome analysis in hematological malignancies. You will also engage in diverse activities, from scrutinizing leukemia evolution to pioneering novel immunotherapies. As a successful candidate you will:
- Perform genotyping.
- Amplify plasmid.
- Procure reagents/supplies.
- Master mouse techniques such as transplantation, extraction of bone marrow cells, and antibody staining.
- Isolate Peripheral Blood/Bone marrow mononuclear cells (PBMC) from Human Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) or normal healthy samples and conduct Flow Cytometry for verification only for human specimens.
Your qualifications should include:
- Ph.D. degree in life or biomedical sciences, or a related discipline is required.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $34.00 - $37.55 / hour
The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
