As the respiratory seasonal vaccines market continues to grow and evolve, Combos are expected to act as a growth driver to this market. Reporting to the Global Combo/ Influenza Lead, this role represents a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and create the branding platform and other core marketing deliverables across HCP, Consumer, and other stakeholders.
What You Will Achieve
Reporting to the Global Combo/ Influenza Lead, this Global Marketing role is designed as a broad and flexible marketing position. This space is fast paced, and the environment is dynamic, which will require from the individual selected to take on a variety of projects and opportunities.
The role requires a high flexibility, ability to drive change and deal with uncertainty, proven experience in delivering creative approaches to solve issues, out-of-the-box thinking, and track-record of working Globally with high expectations.
How You Will Achieve It
Serve as the point of accountability and lead for the global marketing strategy and promotional approach for Flu/ Combo.
Market and customer Insights generation.
Develops/refines HCPs, consumers and and customer segmentation; generates insights and defines implications to build the foundation for a differentiated core message platform to be used in future HCP/customer unbranded and branded activation strategies and campaigns.
Coordinate with insights team for analytic approach, insights generation and incorporating inputs into concept development.
Brand Platform Development – core message platforms and campaigns (HCP and Consumer).
Develop a compliant, strong, differentiated branded and unbranded messaging platform, core global HCP promotional resources, and unbranded patient activation resources in a highly complex market Maps out consumers journey and pathways by market architypes, developing product value proposition to enable broad patient access in the post-pandemic period.
Ensures global brand platform is developed and adapted to incorporate TPPs evolution and product life cycle opportunities including product enhancements, and new future formulations.
Leads efforts to develop field force training platform and content in close coordination with the training team Glocal and cross-functional team leadership.
Actively partner with Global Adult marketing team and asset teams to leverage learnings, best practices for global campaign development, rollouts and Agency management.
Lead global agency scope of work to develop messages and concepts in close coordination with COs and US counterparts.
Partner with CMO in innovation and experimentation efforts
Manage agency performance, budget, launch milestone tracking in relation to brand platform development.
Qualifications
BA/BS degree required.
Advanced degree preferred
15+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience in marketing, strategy, new product launch.
Vaccine experience is preferred
Prior experience with global or in market product launch and execution
Strategic cross functional leadership experience including in market experience and above country/regional scope
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams involving Medical Affairs, PHI, Legal, Regulatory, Corporate Affairs and Regions/Countries
Ability to focus in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and support the team through key strategic decisions
Strong analytical and strategic skills including ability to identify and prioritize strategic challenges and balance short term needs with long-term Flu vaccine vision
Ability to uncover insights, synthesize and evaluate information, draw conclusions, and make recommendations.
Demonstrated understanding of the operational complexities required to execute against Launch Readiness in a highly competitive market
Must be mature, self-driven, have exceptional learning agility and a high degree of comfort with ambiguity and complexity. Track record of pushing boundaries and not accepting status quo.
