Job Summary

The Executive Search Specialist is a professional who serves as a critical component of the organization's executive search function. This position has the responsibility of carrying out a variety of task related to the administration of executive recruitment. The position is an integral member of the Executive Search Team.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

JOB OPENING MAINTENANCE: Creates job openings and screening evaluation rubrics by evaluating the position description to reflect the key aspects of the position. Screens and responds to CVs/resumes received. Collect Search Committee participants and verify Best Hiring Practice training has been completed.

SURVEY MANAGEMENT: Generate and distribute Qualtrics survey to obtain interviewers assessment of candidates.

INVOICE MAINTENANCE: Reviews and presents invoices for payment from vendors and visiting candidates. Ensure all detailed documentation is retrieved to support associated charges. Maintain accurate and detailed spreadsheet documenting all AU Foundation expenditures.

APPLICANT MAINTENANCE: Ensure OneUSG has all applicants entered in database for each Executive Search job opening. If applicable, work with Search Firm to obtain applicant information. Update applicant disposition codes.

PROVIDE EXECUTIVE SEARCH SERVICES: Assist with candidate travel arrangements, campus visit itinerary, local transportation, ordering lunches, scheduling dinners.

SCHEDULING: Assist with scheduling search committee meetings (ie. Committee recurring meetings, post campus visits, virtual interviews, etc.). Compose search committee photo rosters.

FILE MAINTENANCE: Ensure proper and complete executive search recruitment files. Appropriately file and secure search files.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Maintain Executive Search email and webpage. Assist with escorting candidates to and from meetings during campus visits (when needed). Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of HR experience

OR

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization and five years of experience in HR.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and previous experience in recruitment in an academic health care environment is a plus. Experience with Peoplesoft and/or similar HRMS system or similar system is a plus.

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Detail-oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases or willingness to learn

SKILLS

Proficient with Word and Excel; Strong customer service, organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and oral/written communication skills; must possess a professional demeanor, objectivity, and the ability to make professional assessments and maintain confidentiality.

Ability to prioritize and assess workload in order to meet immediate demands of Executive Search.

Must be able to interact appropriately with internal/external constituents at all levels. Must also be self-motivated and able to use appropriate judgment and discretion - not requiring direct supervision.

Shift/Salary/Benefits



Pay Band: B7

Salary Minimum: $42,200 - $46,700

Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position

Conditions of Employment

All selected candidates are required to successfully pass a Background Check review prior to starting with Augusta University.

If applicable for the specific position based on the duties: the candidate will also need to have a credit check completed for Positions of Trust and or approved departmental Purchase Card usage.

Motor vehicle reports are required for positions that are required to drive an Augusta University vehicle.

For Faculty Hires: Final candidates will be required to provide proof of completed academic degree(s) as well as post-secondary coursework in the form of original transcript(s). Those candidates trained by a foreign institution will also be required to provide an educational/credential evaluation.
