Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor of Strategic Management faculty position in the Michael A. Leven School of Management, Entrepreneurship and Hospitality with a preferred start date of August 2025. This is a nine-month contracted position. This position is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities
Candidates will be expected to engage in high-quality scholarship, resulting in top-tier journal publications.
The teaching requirements for this position are five courses (15 hours) over the academic year (3/2) and can include undergraduate and graduate courses across strategic management, family business, and general management.
Professional service to the department, college, and university is expected.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.


Required Qualifications
An earned doctorate, or the foreign equivalent, in management, strategic management, entrepreneurship, international management, business administration, or a related discipline is required.
NOTE: For ABDs, the required degree must be earned by the start date.


Preferred Qualifications
An earned doctorate from an AACSB-accredited college/school
A record of conducting high-quality research and teaching in strategic management, with interest in family business preferred
Interest, training, and/or experience in hybrid and online teaching modalities is desirable.
