Laboratory Manager

The successful candidate:
The Laboratory Manager plans, organizes and oversees the operational activities of the Laboratory. Assists the coordinators in day to day operations of the Laboratory and maintains technical abilities to evaluate all sections of the Laboratory. Creates an effective working relationship with all employees. Assumes authority and responsibilities of the Laboratory Administrative Director in their absence. Oversees projects related to future Laboratory endeavors.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Three years of laboratory supervisory experience.
Education: Bachelor’s in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Biology, Biotechnology or a related field.
Certification: ASCP or AMT
Special Skills: Excellent attention to detail, organization skills and the ability to multitask simultaneously. Has the ability to work under high pressure while keeping a professional composure at all times.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $42.24 - $69.54 / hour
The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
