Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, tenure track Associate Professor or Professor of Information Technology faculty position and Associate Chair of the Department of Information Technology with a preferred start day of January 2025. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience. This is a nine-month contracted position. This position is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities
Teach in information technology at both undergraduate and graduate levels in various modalities including online hybrid or face-to-face as per department need.
Develop and maintain an active and productive individual research agenda.
Lead the department research development, including mentoring junior faculty on research and escalating the department research profile.
Develop research collaborations with internal units and external institutions.
Explore funding opportunities with federal, state, local and industrial stakeholders.
Service in the Department, College, University or professional community is expected.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.


Required Qualifications
An earned PhD degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a computing discipline, such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data and Information Science, and Computer and/or Electrical Engineering is required.
A well-established research record including intensive funding.
