Brief Summary of Work for this Position
The Congdon School of Supply Chain, Business Analytics and Information Systems at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Cameron School of Business, invites applications for a lecturer position in Supply Chain Management to begin August 2025.

The successful candidate is expected to teach four sections per semester (Fall/Spring). Service expectations include the promotion of department programs and participation in department events. Service expectations constitute no more than 10% of the position’s duties. Research is encouraged, although not required.

The ideal candidate will be able to teach in at least two of the following areas: quality management, supply chain management, purchasing and materials management, logistics and distribution management, transportation management, project management. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate introductory, intermediate, advanced undergraduate courses that support the department’s programs, advise majors, and develop a teaching program that engages undergraduate students.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
A master’s degree in operations management or supply chain management, or a related area is required.
Candidates should be proficient in face-to-face and online teaching for undergraduate students.
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Preference will be given to candidates who have the following qualifications:
Ph.D. at time of application
Evidence of excellence in teaching face-to-face and online, at both the graduate and undergraduate levels
Able to teach in at least two of the following areas: quality management, supply chain management, purchasing and materials management, logistics and distribution management, transportation management, and project management.
A focused teaching agenda with an established teaching record or strong potential for publication

Primary Function of Organizational Unit
Congdon School of Supply Chain, Business Analytics, and Information Systems supports the Bachelor of Science with concentrations in Business Analytics, Information Systems and Supply Chain Management, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, and Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity. At the graduate level, the School supports the Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Computer Science and Information Systems, Master of Science in Business Analytics, and Master of Science in Supply Chain Management.
