The Department of Health Management and Systems Sciences is seeking a grader to assist with the following courses.
PHMS-637 MSHDA Capstone Course (3 CH, enrollment 3 of 10) Little, Vu (PTL) This course is an intergrative learning experience drawing on all companies presented in the MSHDA program. It requires the students to work independently as a member of a team to complete a comprehensive and relevant health data analytics for a healthcare-related organization and to successfully pass a competency examination.
PHMS-641 Data Mining I (3 CH, enrollment 18 of 20) Gasson (PTL) The course is first in a two semester sequence graduate level introduction to data mining/big data analytics. It focuses on practical implementation and interpretation of the most commonly used techniques in analysis of very large datasets.
PHMS-642 Data Mining II This is the second of a two semester graduate level course on data mining/big data analytics. It focuses on practical implementation and interpretation of the most commonly used techniques in analysis of very large datasets.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two years of more experience in health analytics, preferably including AI experience/training.
Experience with graduate level mathematics/statistics/computer science assignments.
Must have excellent English language skills because research papers are required in each course, and short essays.
Education: Masters in data analytics or biostatistics, or other extensive quantitative training.
CHDA -Certified Health Data Analyst
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
