Responsibilities
The Kinter Lab is looking for a Temporary Part Time Research Technician to carry out basic research in heart metabolism and mitochondrial function. You will be expected to perform the following duties after appropriate training and time in the position - pipetting, protein assays, gel electrophoresis, enzyme assays, and HPLC. Additional duties will include mouse dissection to harvest tissues. Again, training will be provided. Must be detail oriented, able to follow established protocols, and work independently.
Qualifications
BA/BS degree typically in one of the biological sciences, physics, or chemistry.Basic knowledge of routine laboratory procedures. Basic computer skills to include knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office software.
