About Our Team:
Envisioning your future as a Sandian
Sandia has embarked on accelerated product realization to drive transformational practices that reduce the time from program conception to full rate production and is adding agility into the system so Sandia can continue to adapt quickly while still ensuring quality. Digital Engineering (DE) is an integrated digital approach that uses system data and models as a continuum across disciplines to support lifecycle activities from concept through disposal. This is an exciting approach to engineering that takes full advantage of the digital integration of engineering analysis, experimental data, knowledge, and experience across the enterprise. Digital engineering assures we have better requirements traceability, efficient design of components and systems, and improved quality through early defect detection. This approach also reduces costs, shortens product realization timelines, and enables greater efficiency by leading new and transformative improvements to current methods. This is a critical element to our nation’s nuclear deterrence strategy.
