The Vision Pro Persona Team is looking for senior software engineers to help us build one of Apple\'s most personal communication experiences on our next generation spatial computing platform, visionOS. As a senior engineer on the Vision Pro Persona team, you will play a significant role in defining and building the Persona experience on Apple\'s spatial computing platform - pushing you to think outside the box and work closely with designers and system software teams to solve incredibly challenging problems.
Description
As a senior member of our team, you will help us craft future experiences that will delight, inspire and empower millions of people. We work mostly in Swift, SwiftUI, RealityKit, and Objective-C to build and refine Personas on visionOS. Successful engineers will be prepared to work from the applications layer down to the firmware, building and maintaining stable and performant code that serves as the bedrock of Personas on the platform.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS / MS / PhD in Computer Science OR equivalent degree OR equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5-10 years experience in software engineering
- Experience with at least one deep learning framework, such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Strong fundamentals in graphics, including 3D math, geometric processing, computer vision, and linear algebra
- Experience with optimization, deep learning, and hands-on implementation of these techniques
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, Swift, or similar languages
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise with modern machine learning algorithms including generative models
- Experience with digital humans
- Experience with neural rendering techniques
- Publication record in relevant venues (e.g. CVPR, SIGGRAPH, etc) or track record of building and shipping products
- Enthusiastic about building end-to-end experiences using machine learning
- Awareness and attention to model complexity, power and performance
- Good intuition in making time vs. complexity tradeoffs
