The temporary researcher position is available in the Kopechek Lab, located in the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Louisville, to conduct ultrasound therapy studies for cancer treatment. This position will include designing and conducting experimental studies and analyzing the experimental results. The researcher will also be expected to prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals and assist with pursuing grant funding to support research projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctorate degree in bioengineering, or a related area. Significant prior research experience in relevant topics, including ultrasound therapy technologies and techniques such as histotripsy, acquiring and analyzing ultrasound images with Verasonics imaging systems, and culture of cancer cells for microscopy and molecular assays.
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
