The University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry is seeking nominations and applications for a full-time researcher and educator position at the Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor level in the Division of Dental Biomaterials. We desire an accomplished researcher to join our faculty at the OU Health Sciences Center and become a part of Oklahoma's premier research university which leads the state in education and career opportunities.
Responsibilities of the position will include conducting independent and extramurally funded research, teaching courses to dental hygiene students, dental students, and graduate students in didactic settings, and assisting students and faculty with research projects. Collaborative research opportunities are available at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
The successful candidate must possess a Ph.D. degree in biomaterials science, restorative dentistry, or physical science with a materials emphasis. Teaching experience, scholarly activity and funded independent research (NIH) will be required. Preference will be given to applicants having experience in synthesis and characterization of materials, and those with R01 NIH funding.
