Job Description
Our Lab is seeking highly motivated and creative scientists, who will join a NIH-funded project to engage in basic and translational neuroscience research. The laboratory uses in vivo imaging, electrophysiology, and optogenetic approaches to better understand mechanisms that underlying neuro-immune interaction in gut and to develop strategies to treat gastrointestinal sensory and motor dysfunctions.Qualifications: MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field. Experience with rodent surgical techniques, in vivo and ex vivo physiology, histology, and molecular biology. Excellent written/oral communication in English. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and collaborative basic/translational research environment.
