Job Description
Summary
The Medical Education Production Intern will receive training in educational materials production (e.g. video editing, data tracking, quality review), marketing (e.g. graphic design, copy development, and social media interaction) and continuing medical education (CME) operations, proceedures, and requirements.
Job Purpose
Provides temporary administrative or laboratory support to a department while gaining practical work experience.
Job Duties
- Assists in recording livestreams of CME activities.
- Reviews and edits recorded CME materials to identify and correct copyright, medical education compliance, and A/V quality issues.
- Identifiesand organizes references from presentations.
- Drafts session descriptions, lists of health topics, and other presentation metadata.
- Creates and distributes marketing materials on social media and other channels to promote medical education activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in high school or be a high school graduate (or equivalent secondary education) or enrolled in an institution of higher education.

- 1 year of professional experience in a related field.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Detail-oriented approach.
- Willingness to learn and accept feedback and instruction.
- Goal-oriented and deadline driven outlook.
- Proficiency in office productivity and collaborative tools e.g., Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, etc.
- Has access to a personal computer suitable for light video editing and office productivity applications (e.g. MS Office).
- Experience in video editing and production using tools (such as e.g. Adobe Premier).
- Active on social media and familiar with social media marketing.
