Summary
The Huffington Center on Aging at Baylor College of Medicine invites applications for a faculty position at the level of tenure-track assistant professor or associate or full professor with tenure. We seek a candidate passionate about conducting cutting-edge research in understanding fundamental cellular biology and disease processes of relevance to aging processes. This includes but is not limited to metabolic and neurodegenerative disorders. As a faculty member, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly dynamic group of scientists engaged in diverse aging research programs within the Aging Center and across the College and have access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources.
Applicants should have an M.D. and/or Ph.D. degree with an outstanding publication record and committed to mentoring graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. The successful candidate is expected to direct a competitive, independent and extramurally funded basic or translational research program.
