Job Description:
The ASN Program at Dr. Susan L. Davis, R.N., & Richard J. Henley College of Nursing is seeking motivated applicants whose teaching responsibilities will be in the Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program. We are currently searching for a full-time, 9 months, benefits-eligible, non-tenure track faculty position with rank commensurate with background and experience.
Teaching responsibilities include lecture and/or laboratory and simulation instruction, clinical instruction, course and curriculum development, student advisement, program evaluation, and University service and scholarship. Positions begin August 2025. The ASN program has students from diverse backgrounds and experience.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be able to contribute to a College environment based upon mutual respect and collegiality and will value the University's Catholic identity, tradition and spirit, and will support the University's commitment to community service, strategic planning, and the intellectual and ethical development of all students.
Requirements:
We are seeking individuals with the following qualifications:
Master of Science in Nursing required.
Doctorate in Nursing or related field preferred.
Current RN license in the State of Connecticut or eligible for licensure in CT
Previous experience in nursing higher education preferred
Clinical expertise in one or more of the following areas:
Medical Surgical Nursing
Emergency Nursing
Critical Care Nursing
