Summary
The Program in Population and Environmental Health Disparities is seeking a Senior Coordinator (Research Operations) to work closely with faculty to coordinate research operations processes to ensure successful implementation of Program projects, including a large multi-site epidemiologic study. The person filling this position will be expected to provide close tracking of study-related tasks and maintain lines of communication between principal investigator, collaborators, research staff, and other stakeholders to ensure timely implementation of study protocols. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills.
Job Duties
- Works with the Principal Investigator (PI) and other research staff to assure that the studies comply with all terms and conditions.
- Provides oversight of research project subcontracts and provides fiscal management reports to the PI.
- Assists the PI with writing and submitting progress reports to the funding agency.
- Organizes travel.
- Arranges project meetings.
- Creates agendas and maintains meeting minutes.
- Serves as a point-of-contact for Population Sciences Biorepository, where research-related biospecimens are processed, stored, and shipped to a Central Biorepository.
- Creates and maintains study-related SOPs, as needed.
- Maintains knowledge of study processes and procedures.
- Tracks long and short term study goals to ensure compliance with study protocols.
- Provides ongoing review and development of process improvements to maximize timely protocol implementation.
- Performs QA/QC checks on field and laboratory logs.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Four years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- One or more years of experience.
