High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Pre-employment physical exam required. Valid driver's license required and must be insurable by the University's insurance carrier. Grade 4 (Hourly)

Position Description:

The Carpenter II position will perform all levels of carpentry and masonry work in alterations, repairs, maintenance and renovations of buildings and grounds. This includes ceilings, floors, cornices, stairways, doors, windows, frame walls, hand and finish drywall and plaster. Install/repair vinyl and ceramic tile and base. Set scaffolding, build concrete forms and finish concrete. Maintain wood fixtures, repair windows and assemble furniture.Install suspended, glued, splined ceilings, or repair as needed. Lay brick, block or structural or ceramic tile. Operate light equipment and bucket truck.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
