Advertisement WordingThe Mathematics Department at Morehead State University is accepting applications for a full-time, tenure track position as an Assistant Professor, Mathematics. The anticipated start date is August 11, 2025.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Teaches undergraduate courses in Mathematics; advises students; engages in research and professional development; and participates in departmental and university service.

REQUIREMENTS: Doctorate in Mathematics or Statistics, or closely related discipline required. ABD’s with completion by May 2026 may be considered.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Teaching experience in a higher education environment.

Assistant Professor will teach in a typical classroom environment or an internet based environment. Travel to a Regional Campus or off-site location may be required.
