3. Must possess and maintain a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with an endorsement for public passengers and be insurable under the university's auto fleet policy.
4. Must possess a good driving record; verification through Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
5. Must pass a post offer/pre-employment mandatory drug and alcohol test.
6. Must be able to perform all mental and physical requirements as outlined in each job duty.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate passenger buses, shuttles, vans and paratransit units on various routes as established by the Transportation Office.
- Inspect buses and report any equipment malfunctions; maintain cleanliness of vehicles.
- Fuel daily and inspect bus for any exterior damage.
- Maintain contact with Transportation Office when necessary via radio and/or telephone; inform office of changes in location, delays, traffic problems, emergencies, etc.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage and number of passengers; complete various trip sheets and logs for each assigned task.
- Assist and direct disabled individuals on and off vehicles as needed.
- Report any problems with routes and make recommendations for changes when appropriate.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
