The Jack Welch College of Business & Technology invites applications for one visiting assistant faculty position in the undergraduate analytics program starting August 2025. A doctorate in analytics or a graduate degree with significant and ongoing experience is required, along with evidence of excellence in teaching and/or teaching potential. The ideal candidate is expected to teach undergraduate courses in programming, database management and analytics with a preference given to candidates who can demonstrate experience in these areas.The ideal candidate will be expected to:
Teach introductory and upper-level undergraduate courses in analytics.
Contribute to curricular development activities.
Participate in department, school, and university-level services, including advising students.
Incorporate applied material into their coursework to prepare students for the workforce.
Assist in the creation and delivery of curricular and professional development activities relevant for students pursuing careers in analytics.
DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED: Qualified candidates are requested to electronically submit a cover letter, a curriculum vitae including a list of courses taught (if any), a statement of teaching philosophy, and evidence of teaching effectiveness (if any). Candidates may choose to submit a statement of research and a sample research paper if appropriate.
