Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise the Autism Day Camp scheduling and logistics of recreational activities including collaboration with Autism Day Camp Directors.
- Develop and/or coordinate camp recreational activities.
- Assist in supervision of Autism Day Camp staff.
- Collaborate with Autism Day Camp Counselors to develop individualized recreational activities.
- Assist in monitoring physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
- Collaborate with Camp Directors to oversee use and maintenance of camp supplies, equipment, and facilities.
- Serve as role model to all campers and staff with professionalism and positive attitude.
- Provide leadership to campers and staff in emergency situations.
- Assist campers with activities of daily living (ADL). ADL’s include, but are not limited to, dressing, toileting, and eating.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
