Summary
The postdoctoral associate will focus on data collection and management of clinical projects on aortic disease research. The ideal candidate must have an MD, or MD/Ph.D. and experience in clinical research.
This position also the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in advanced endovascular aortic research within a collaborative, multidisciplinary research environment.
Job Duties
- Completes comprehensive prospective or retrospective clinical data collection and management of projects on aortic research, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedural data collection, CTA measurements, and ultrasound interpretation.
- Develops clinical research studies and conducts data collection, data analysis and interpretation in advance aortic research within a collaborative, multidisciplinary research environment.
- Develops research protocols, including IRB submissions and amendments, contributes to coordination of multicenter clinical research studies.
- Writes manuscripts and presents results at both national and international professional conferences.
- Assists with patient consent, and completion of case report forms (CRFs) and assessment of quality-of-life questionnaires in clinical trials.
- Assists with clinical data entry into electronic databases sourced from electronic medical records or other clinical databases, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- A background in clinical research in vascular or general surgery, or with residency training in vascular or general surgery.
