To perform complex secretarial, office administration, and public relations assignments; perform related work.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support & Scheduling

- Manages the Title IX Coordinators calendar and coordinates meetings with students, faculty, and departments..

- Schedules formal hearings; arranges accommodations and rooms.

- Assist in arranging supportive measures for ISU Members undergoing the Title IX process.

- Trained in and uses Maxient (case management system) to manage Title IX/IV cases. Creates, updates, and monitors case entries; sends outreach and follow-up letters to parties.

- Manages CPI and work-study students, providing tasks and overseeing educational campaigns and projects.

- Interpreting, applying, and explaining complex information such as regulations, policies, or services.

- Coordinating and communicating frequently with departments across campus.

- Reviews religious exemptions.

Data Management and Analysis

- Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets to track Title IX/IV case data.

- Analyze and visualize case data for annual reporting.

Website & Social Media Communication

- Trained in website development and accessibility.

- Updates and reorganizes the Title IX website; creates new pages.

- Collaborates with student workers on content ideas, website, and social media updates, and educational campaigns.


Minimum Qualifications

Good knowledge of:

Office support functions including word processing, filing, composing a variety of business documents and reception.
Researching, compiling, and summarizing data for reports.
Experience:

Interpreting, applying and explaining complex information such as regulations, policies or services.
Independently solving problems/performing liaison activities in a work setting.
Coordinating activities requiring complex arrangements.
Specialty Items - Some positions at ISU may require one or more of the following:

Some knowledge of:

Financial record keeping.
Supervisory practices.
Good knowledge of:

Legal terminology.
Investigative procedures.
Experience:

Public Relations.
Using dictation/transcription equipment & Taking minutes.
