Job Description
Essential Duties:Manage the conception and production of video content (shooting, editing, converting and uploading, optimizing, and adding effects) for use across multiple platforms.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to execute the division of marketing and communication’s strategies effectively.
Assist with pre-visualization of projects, writing scripts, titles, descriptions, closed captioning and tags for all photos and videos.
Plan and coordinate interviews, testimonials, and demonstrations for photo and video content.
Develop concepts, capture and reproduce high-quality photographic images for marketing materials and digital content for print and digital distribution to inform internal and external audiences.
Conduct photo shoots and use creative and artistic skills to reflect the full range of campus activities.
Maintain, organize, and archive photo and video files.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to setup and utilize various video and photo DSLR cameras, audio recording equipment, and professional lighting.
Understanding of professional lighting standards and techniques.
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Strong visual storyteller using various mediums.
Ability to collaborate with a diverse range of constituents, internally and externally.
Advanced user of the Adobe Creative Suite.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Google Workspace.
Familiarity with Wrike management software and Media Valet back-up systems.
Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
Required Qualifications:
This position requires a bachelor's degree in communications, video production, photography, photojournalism, art or a related field.
Two to three years of experience in video production and editing.
Two to three years of professional photography experience in assignment shooting, studio experience and post-production.
Valid Driver's License.
Salary:
In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is AFT: Range 21 ($63,833.24 to $73,416.00), with placement within the range determined by candidate's qualifications, professional experience, internal equity, and other factors.
For internal applicants, salary is determined per the Pay Adjustment formula (NJAC 4A:3-4.9 & 4.10).
