Job Description

Southeastern Louisiana University's Controller's Office seeks applicants for the positions of Accountants. The open positions include two Accounts Receivable Accountants, a Grant Accountant, and a Payroll Accountant. These positions provide professional accounting services in support of the University’s financial operations. These positions assist with the preparation, analysis, and maintenance of financial records, reports, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and transparency. The Accountant works under general supervision and collaborates with other departments to support the University’s fiscal integrity and compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Bachelor’s degree with two years of accounting experience. A MBA Degree with at least six semester hours in accounting will substitute for experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Three years of accounting or auditing experience
