Job Description

Minimum Qualifications:

For Level 2 (Grade 79):
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field from an accredited college or university; plus a minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, fiscal, personnel, or general operations; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated proficiency with Excel and experience with ERP/reporting tools (e.g., Banner, TOAD, Access, OBI, or similar).

For Level 3 (Grade 80):
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field from an accredited college or university; plus a minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, fiscal, personnel, or general operations; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated proficiency with Excel and experience with ERP/reporting tools (e.g., Banner, TOAD, Access, OBI, or similar).

Position Details:

This is a full-time, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule. This position is a range recruitment at Grade 79 or Grade 80. Placement and salary will be based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.

This position is based on the Troth Yeddha’ Campus at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF). A hybrid work arrangement may be available for candidates residing in the Fairbanks area. While in-person or hybrid work is preferred, remote work may be considered for exceptionally qualified candidates who reside outside of Fairbanks.
