Major/Essential Functions
Provide leadership and oversight for the Student Enrichment Center, including strategic planning, assessment, and daily operations. Supervise, train, and evaluate professional and student staff within the Center.
Oversee the Raider Education program, including curriculum design, implementation, and assessment of workshops, trainings, and campus-wide initiatives.
Direct the Project Enrich program, a competitive, application-based cohort open to all incoming first-year and second-year undergraduate students, focused on post-graduation success and leadership development.
Develop, coordinate, and facilitate programs, workshops, trainings, and events for faculty, staff, students, RSOs, and community members that align with the mission of Student Life and Texas Tech University.
Collaborate with university-wide colleges and departments to identify needs, share resources, and co-develop initiatives that enhance student learning and engagement. Serve as a campus resource for student engagement initiatives, fostering collaboration across departments and with community partners.
Oversee budgeting, purchasing, and financial reporting for the Center, ensuring responsible management of university resources.
Assess program effectiveness and utilize data to enhance services and student outcomes.
Coordinate facility usage and scheduling for programs, events, and trainings hosted within the Student Enrichment Center.
Represent the Center and Student Life on university committees and at external events.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrated experience designing and facilitating workshops, trainings, or educational programs for varied audiences.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and community stakeholders.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Knowledge of best practices in student engagement, leadership development, and campus programming.
Demonstrated success in building partnerships with university colleges, departments, and community organizations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related area required plus five years progressively responsible management experience. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in Higher Education, Educational Leadership, Counseling, or related field.
Five (5) years of progressive experience in student development, engagement, or related areas within higher education.
Experience managing departmental budgets and supervising professional or student staff.
