About the DepartmentEnrollment Management and Services provides critical services to students, parents and visitors to NC State University working across the student life cycle, from identifying prospective students, through graduation and beyond.
The Department of Registration and Records is responsible for recording and safeguarding student academic records. Registration and Records also provides administrative support to many other campus departments. Important functions of the office include: fulfilling campus requests for data; producing student transcripts and enrollment verifications; maintaining curriculum requirements; monitoring enrollment; creating the schedule of classes; maintaining the course catalog; and monitoring overall functionality of registration, graduation, curriculum changes, etc. in the student information system. Additionally, Registration and Records processes inter-institutional registrations with other schools in various consortia, and certifies veteran educational benefits.

Essential Job Duties
The Campus Engagement and Communications Coordinator supports the strategic communications, outreach, and engagement efforts for the Department of Registration and Records (R&R), the Student Services Center (SSC) and the Division of Enrollment Management and Services (EMAS). This position is responsible for developing and coordinating communications that promote awareness, understanding and engagement across the university community while supporting student success and institutional and departmental priorities.
Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Maintaining communication calendars and coordinating outreach efforts across campus;
Writing and delivering email correspondence to campus audiences on behalf of R&R and the SSC;
Managing website content for R&R, the SSC and EMAS;
Overseeing the editing and annual publication lifecycle of the University Catalog in collaboration with editorial designees across campus;
Designing, publishing and promoting digital billboards, branded collateral and other materials;
Supporting the planning and execution of the University Commencement ceremony, including generation of commencement-related communications and materials;
Supporting the assistant registrar with departmental assessment initiatives and documentation;
Supporting internal R&R teams with process documentation and standard operating procedure (SOP) maintenance; and
Completing other duties as assigned by department leadership
The coordinator facilitates connection between the department, campus communicators and university partners, translating complex and technical information into accessible, engaging and actionable content across multiple communication channels. The coordinator must also work continually and closely with department leadership to develop a robust understanding of R&R operations to inform innovative and effective approaches to communication, outreach, and engagement with the campus community.

Qualifications
Minimum Experience/Education
Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in communication, public relations, publicity, marketing or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Experience using Slate or another customer relationship management (CRM) or other email platform.
Experience using WordPress or another content management system and web editing software.
Experience using CourseLeaf or another catalog management software.
Experience with creating, editing and exporting digital content.
