Tips

Inclusion is the future of work.

Still, as we all likely know by now—creating an environment that genuinely, actively supports diversity is easier said than done. We also know it’s necessary work. And true impact requires intention and innovation

From the start of my career as a teacher in Oakland, California to my current position as the Director of global diversity, inclusion and belonging (DIBs) at ServiceNow, I've been working to move the needle toward a more empathetic, inclusive world. This year our team developed a digital DIBs Leadership Summit in June that paired community partners with ServiceNow employees to dig into the business obstacles global NGOs and nonprofits face in their day-to-day operations.

The event was richly interactive, with an emphasis on action-learning, collaborative problem-solving, and practicing tangible skills that can be applied to everyday workplace interactions.
